History
The Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FSRD), which was established on 20 August 2014 with Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 82 of 2014, is the tenth faculty currently owned by Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Solo. As a new faculty, which was born in the midst of the existence of a high university which already has 9 faculties, it is very interesting and challenging to work together to grow bigger.

HISTOIRE de FSRD
The Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FSRD), which was established on 20 August 2014 with Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 82 of 2014, is the tenth faculty currently owned by Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Solo. As a new faculty, which was born in the midst of the existence of a high university which already has 9 faculties, it is very interesting and challenging to work together to grow bigger.
Sebelas Maret University itself was founded on March 11 1976, based on Presidential Decree No. 10 / 1976. At that time it was called Surakarta Sebelas Maret State University, and was later changed to Sebelas Maret University or abbreviated as UNS. Sebelas Maret University was originally the result of a merger of several universities in the city of Surakarta, including the Surakarta State Teacher Training and Education Institute (IKIP), Surakarta Business Administration Academy (AAN), Surakarta State Sports College (STO), Faculty of Medicine, Development College National (PTPN) Veteran Surakarta Branch and Combined University of Surakarta (UGS).
